Kiama Municipal Council have engaged flood consultants WMAwater to carry out a Floodplain Risk Management Study (FRMS) for the Surf Beach Catchment.

An important feature of the FRMS is community consultation, which aims to inform the public on the progress of the project and allow the opportunity for the community to contribute. WMAwater is particularly interested in suggestions for mitigation measures that could reduce flood risk in the catchment.

Residents living within the area of interest will receive a newsletter and questionnaire to be returned by the 8th April 2016 (also available for download as a PDF, or online here). Other residents are invited to download the newsletter and questionnaire and submit a response to the following:
