The text of the community notice is:

Albury’s location on the banks of the Murray and within its catchment areas means that we are vulnerable to flooding – anything from overflowing drains to inundation from watercourses.

To help AlburyCity deal with these flooding issues effectively, we have commissioned WMAwater to develop a Floodplain Risk Management Study and Plan, which will guide future flood mitigation decision making in our region.

AlburyCity’s Draft Report for the Albury Floodplain Risk Management Study and Draft Plan is now available for comment. Copies are available for viewing from the Customer Service Centre, 553 Kiewa Street, the Library Museum, the Lavington Library and the Thurgoona Community Centre, and can be viewed on our website at www.alburycity.nsw.gov.au
